Collector Profile - Jacob Lynch & Family

Age: 15

Location: Tredegar, Gwent, Wales

When did you first hear about Groggs and when did your family start their collection?
About 4 years ago when I asked my Nan about her one. That's the first one in the family and she got it in the mid 80's

What made your family want to start collecting?
We aren't really collectors as such they have been bought as presents.

What were the first 3 Groggs you owned as a family and why in particular did you pick these?
1. The early 80's Grogg (a Welsh rugby player) it was given as a gift
2. The Perfect Day (Scott Gibbs) given to my dad as a Christmas present as it is his favourite welsh try
3. A Welsh dragon for my dads 50th birthday

Do you still own these Groggs and if not why?
Yes, we still own them all

What Groggs do you try to collect now or would you like to collect going forward?
Welsh rugby stars or sporting stars

How many Groggs do you own together?
3 in the household 4 all together
