When and how did you start collecting
groggs?
I’d been wanting to start collecting since
I was a boy, as I've been a passionate rugby player when younger, much younger
and now a fan, but never got around to it. But in 2010 the Mrs was bought a Rhys
Williams blues testimonial Grogg for her birthday and that was my starting
point. There was no way the Mrs was going to have more rugby Groggs than me.
Since then there's been no stopping me.
4.
What were the first 3 groggs you owned and why in particular did you pick
these?
Dafydd Jones - legend on and off the field
a top bloke.
Gavin Henson - silver boots. Present.
2005 Grand Slam Grogg. No explanation
needed. Lol
5.
Do you still own these Groggs and if not why?
Oh yes, never sold a Grogg to date, but
have twins now, so who knows in the future. Not. The boys would go before a Grogg.
6.
What Groggs do you try to collect now?
Welsh (which is a must) , lions and
specials mainly, also prone to the odd special rare mini
7.
How many groggs do you own?
To date I own 62 Groggs, 4 of them are
minis. 36 which have been signed by the individual player.
8.
What's your favourite Grogg and why?
Really hard to pick a best one, as love the
quality and time put in to each one from Richard and John. Dan Carter Crusaders
will probably just be out in front, if I had to pick one. As it's quite a rare
one and the detail is second to none, plus I got it signed too.
9.
Are there any groggs you regret selling if so why?
Never sold any.
10.
Who would you love to see Grogged?
Sonny Bill Williams legend of both codes of
rugby. Looking forward to seeing him in the World Cup in Wales next year.
Now
for some photographs of your Groggs:
